Thank You...
All
of the Renaissance students would like to thank the Arrowood Business
Association (ABA) for their donation of a 3D Printer to the Technology Department. This printer will be used during several courses
and activities. Our art students can now virtually design a sculpture and print it out, our Robotics team can print out plastic
parts for the robot, our biology students will be able to print out 3D cells,
and our Sci. Visualization students can print out their final projects. Once again, THANK YOU to all the ABA Members. With your help we will meet our goal of preparing our students to be college and career ready.
Mr. Moore's Advanced Art class would like to thank Ernest Dwight, President and Founder of SouthWood Corporation for his generous donation of a high density foam board. The students used the material to create ornamental totem sculptures.
The students love working with the material which is used by SouthWood to make large signs. Mr. Moore likes the material for sculpting because it is more stable than wood or plaster, it is easy to sand (very little dust and no splinters) and has a grain less surface for painting.

Mrs. LeGrone's Digital Photography class and the rest of the Art Department would like to thank Beth Wallace and everyone at neteffect technologies for their generous donation of several color printers and computers/monitors. The students had not been able to print their work until Beth made this happen. Now the students are able to have their first art show to exhibit their work.
The show is December 10th at the Art Institute from 5PM - 7PM.
